There are 4 separate locations for the preaching: 2 are in Urcos in a municipal building and a public auditorium and the other 2 are in very small towns to the south.

East of the mountains the climate is hot and humid, a tropical rain forest. Here lies the birthplace of the Amazon River, which flows all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.

Valley students go on mission trip to Peru

Valley students go on mission trip to Peru.

Fifty-eight students and adults from Fresno Adventist Academy will leave next Wednesday for a 10-day mission trip to Urcos, Peru with the Quiet Hour Ministries.

Urcos is a remote village and is home to a small lake and historic ruins. The mission trip will include the construction of a church, evening evangelism meetings, medical, dental and eye clinics and vacation Bible school programs for the children.

Health and family talks will also be included with the evening meetings.

Eight students from the academy have been selected to preach at four separate locations while they are there.
