I am told by that the people here are "dying" for the word. I was looking around the church and didn't see bibles or much of anything else. The pastor for this territory I understand is in charge of 15 churches. He is only out of college half a year and struggling to keep up. There harvest is ripe, but the laborers are few.
Regarding tonight's meeting that Julianna spoke for, there was a small crowd in attendance not counting the workers and more came in later. The pastor asked the people if they agreed with what the bible says and they ALL raised their hands. At the end, the pastor told Julianna to stand at the door and welcome "her" people. He taught us how to say "See you tomorrow" in Quechuan (the local language).

I am told that the others have a little over an hour drive. That other group is in Cuspata (a small town even further south) and has Mrs. Lauritzen, Mrs Bullington, Austin, his mom, dad, & sister. Jasmanny, Jeremy, and Keisha. Mrs Lauritzen said they served a small group of children in VBS and lead one child to open with prayer and one to close with prayer. She also said that they prayed with the most sincere prayer and hope that it impresses the others.
Austin was the speaker for tonight at their location. He had the help of Davina and Jasmanny for translation of the word. They said that they had a nice sized crowd in attendance.
Can you ask for prayer for Mrs. Lindsay. She has been ill with altitude sickness since we arrived. She states that she is feeling a little better but had some vomiting. Also, her Birthday is on Wednesday, the biggest and longest day of our trip. I am told it is a 6 hr trip by bus and train. She said she is going to be 54.
